The deity of Lord Narasimha Dev at ISKCON Bangalore receives elaborate abhishekam and other services on Narasimha Chaturdashi. This is the appearance day of Lord Narasimha Dev the half man half lion incarnation of Lord Krishna. The Lord appeared in this wonderful form in order to protect his five-year old devotee Prahalada, from the atrocities of his demonic father Hiranyakashipu.
The Supreme Lord is the purest of the pure. Therefore, anyone who is constantly Krishna conscious is also the purest of the pure.
